Letter about lockdown
How is your life different from this time last month?
It has been a big difference, no going to school with all my friends, no play dates and we have only seen grandma and grandad via zoom.
I have found the hardest thing is staying with my sister ALL the time! She is very annoying.
Spending more time with my dad has been my best thing in lockdown, he is normally at work for a lot of the day.
Google chromebooks have been the best technology device for me in lockdown because you still get to do your school work and you can keep talking to your friends in google meet.
My best book is SLIME by David Walliams and I read over half of it in one night! It was about a person called Ned, he was in a wheelchair and he loved speeding around the island.
I don't watch a lot of TV but Mum taped The Cube which is a game show where all the contestants do tricky tasks to win money.
We did a bit of art work for school and I have been cutting down manuka with a tomahawk for fun.
Not that unique but lots of board games like Boggle, Chess and we couldn’t find the scrabble board but we have a giant jigsaw puzzle yet to come out.
My family cut down a massive tree that was going to fall on our carport, we all worked together, we all did a job each and i learnt that we are a great team. I also think my family would be great at the game show The Cube as we all are good at different things.
